Actors’ Summit’s mission is to create professional theater with Ohio artists.

We have cast all of the roles for our 2008 – 2009 season.

We try to use actors who are new to Actors’ Summit in most shows. We are committed to using Ohio Artists.

We have a company of actors with whom we have worked in the past. We try to develop working relationships with artists whose work we admire. We actually choose our season, at least in part, so that we will have roles for those company members. We really don’t like the customary practice of using a “pick-up” group of actors. We find that the quality of the finished product is better when artists know each other and have worked together over time.

That said we are always interested in expanding our talent pool. We encourage actors who are interested in working with us to come out to see our shows and get to know the company members. It makes the process of incorporating new artists much easier.

If you’re interested in working with us there are three things you can do:

2. Send us an email asking to be notified of upcoming auditions to info@actorssummit.org.
3. Get to know our work and our company members. We don’t want money to stand in the way of your seeing our productions. If you are willing to invest 30 minutes working as a volunteer usher you can see any of our shows for free. Just give us a call and let us know which performance would work for you and we’ll get you signed up. You’re welcome to bring a friend and make it a cheap night out.
