The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society Presents A Christmas Carol

The ladies of the Farndale Avenue Dramatic Society mount an assault on a classic with their stage version of A Christmas Carol.  In the grand tradition of Monty Python and British holiday “pantos,” the “ladies” of the Dramatic Society tackle Dickens and throw him for a loss.  Holiday fun for the whole family.

Photograph 51 was the first picture to show the double helix structure of DNA.  Biology, ethics, women’s equality, anti-semitism -- all play a role in this fascinating true story about Rosalind Franklin, Ph.D. who may have missed receiving the Nobel Prize because her standards were too high.
